Tribal Music drumming vocalised by Ninindi encapsulates the essence of trance dance or sound meditation in meditative states for tribal groups who come together for the sake of celebrating our lives together as one united being.
The Boom Boom ayadayada are basically the drum beat vocalised. The rest of the singing can be basically translated to ‘let’s come together as community and celebrate our lives together as one united being.
It’s a home recording. And all the lingo (intuited language) is chanelled direct by Ninindi.
Ninindi’s spontaneous music such as this, is essentially very tribal in nature. She loves to be out in nature and singing from the Spirit of the Land and connected people. Every Monday night in Maleny town, Queensland, Australia, a club known as the UpFront opens its doors to a slew of wannabe and trulybe musicians from all walks of life.
Maleny has become quite a popular tourist town which still supports a local crew of “hillbilly” ‘hippies’ that gather together regularly to share music with eachother.
Maleny is very much a muscial town. With comments I hear regularly from people saying that it is so great to live in such a place that has regular live music playing in town. And not just on one or two nights a week.
This one week myself, Ninindi, and my friend Barb decided to have a go together and slog it through a 15 minute slot on the Monday night blackboard, with an improvised piece on Djembe and Voice.
